Record label and CD/DVD replicator originally based in Downey, CA. The GF series of CDs ceased in 2004. Collaborative releases continued through 2008. Ground Fault released 3 series: Series I – Electroacoustic, musique concrete, minimal, ambient, field recordings, academic, tonal, avant garde Series II – Atmospheric, experimental, soundscapes, drones, improvisational, textural, cut-ups, surreal, abstract sound art Series III – Extreme, harsh, noise, power electronic Since 1998 they also serve as a manufacturing broker with replication and manufacturing services. Ground Fault has used a number of manufacturers to fulfill this service which include matrix codes containing GFR/CA, UDA-AAA, USMD/CA, LMW/CA, MOC/CA, CDV/CA.
