Record Label
Italian label. NOTE: For all Unofficial / Bootleg releases of this label please use [[label:1406926]] Named after the production team with the same name and abbreviated GGM, Groove Groove Melody is an Italian dance label originally manufactured and distributed by [[label:Discomagic Records]]. Content that was not licensed from other labels was published by [[label:336370]], and then soon after the label was formed, [[label:353068]] was set up as a production company and rights holder. GGM survived the split-up of Discomagic in 1997, becoming a trademark of Seven Inch, distributed by [[label:137493]] (co-founded by Severo’s brother, Vittorio, who was already responsible for Italian Coordination). It also appeared to form new alliances with [[label:342340]] / [[label:14644]], a sublabel of [[label:14995]], itself a subsidiary of the now-defunct [Dig-It International](https://www.discogs.com/label/31314-Dig-It-International). These bonds have survived to the present day, as old Heavy, Pan Pot and GGM releases have been reissued digitally on GGM. Recent physical reissues have been cooperations with [[label:152096]]. Copyright strings now also mention yet another company, [[label:821984]], alongside Seven Inch.
