Jazz label established in New York by [[artist:Bob Thiele]] in 1969. The label issued significant albums by [[artist:Gil Scott-Heron]], [[artist:Gato Barbieri]], [[artist:Oliver Nelson]], [[artist:Lonnie Liston Smith]] and Thiele's wife, [[artist:Teresa Brewer]]. It also released recordings of speeches by SNCC leader [[artist:H. Rap Brown]], radical [[artist:Angela Davis]] and black professor/critic [[artist:Stanley Crouch]]. Thiele's son [[label:Bob Thiele Jr.]] revived the label in 2023 with the release of [m=3032090].
