Record Label
Record label established in June 1987. It was a merger of the former [[label:EMI America]] label and [[label:Manhattan Records]]. In September 1988 the label was discontinued and the catalog# was transferred to Capitol Records and [[label:EMI USA]]; despite this, the EMI Manhattan branding was retained on represses of the label's catalog (e.g. [[release:6524157]], which was released between the mid-1990s and 2004 based on the [[label:294033]] glass master). Please make sure you enter the label that matches the logo on your item: [[label:Manhattan Records]] or [[label:EMI-Manhattan Records]].
