EastWest Records America is owned by Warner Music Group, and operates under WMG's Alternative Distribution Alliance. Founded by [[artist:Sylvia Rhone]] and [[artist:Merlin Bobb]]. Rhone was named CEO and President of Atlantic's EastWest Records America division in 1990. When the EastWest artist roster and operations were combined with those of Atco Records a year later, Rhone was named Chairman and CEO of Atco/EastWest and subsequently of EastWest Records America; she left the label in 1994.
