Record Label
First label manager was Jimmy Crash, with Adam X occasionally doing A&R. The first 8 releases featured **Direct Drive Records** as a label name. Jimmy sold the label to [[label:Mid-Town Records]] in 1994, then some of the back catalogue to Hot Music in Miami later on. When M&C bought the label, the catalogue numbers were reduced to 2 position on purpose, since it's virtually a different label. (ie: DDR 24 instead of DDR 024). Also their logo changed with that. It was a joint venture between [[label:See Saw]] and [[label:M&C Records]]. From DDR 26 on up the label was represented as **Direct Drive Records** again on the releases.
