Diaspora Recordings was founded in 2000 by Jeffrey Peacock and Asya Shein-Alexander. The label was not aligned to a single scene, and its catalogue reflects a range of work across house and adjacent forms. Peven Everett, Lady Alma, Boo Williams, Rich Medina, Arnold Jarvis, 1050 East, Steal Vybe, Dan Curtin, Nicky Lawrence, and Directions all released on the label. Alongside Sweet Abraham's own remix contributions, the catalogue includes work from Carl Craig, Kenny Dope, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Marathon Men, Harley & Muscle, Frankie Valentine, Alex Attias, and Lars Behrenroth.
