House label based in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1988 by [[artist:Steve "Silk" Hurley]] and his then-manager [[artist:Frank Rodrigo]]. The pair went on to establish [[label:Echotron Records]] and [[label:ID Records]]. Center labels and outer sleeves show D.J. World Records until release DJW 107. From that release and onwards the center labels and outer sleeves show only DJ World.
