Record Label
Record label founded by [[artist:Rollo]] in late 1991. Also used for copyright credits until the company was legally incorporated in 1996 ([[label:409772]]) Released two singles and then folded. Established as a brand in 1993 when Rollo relaunched the label with funding and general management from [[label:Champion]] Records. Acquired by [[label:BMG]] on 7 September 2000, who in turn merged with [[label:Sony]] to form [[label:Sony BMG]] in 2004. Cheeky remained independent in the BMG years. [[artist:Johnny Walker]] worked in A&R for the label.
