Record Label
Boy's Own Productions, sometime stylised as Boys Own Productions or just Boys Own, is a seminal UK collective who emerged in the second half of the '80s as pioneers of the acid house scene. The collective, co-founded by [[artist:4450]], [[artist:2657]], [[artist:1379]], [[artist:6923564]] a.o., ran raves and club parties, published a fanzine and eventually started a label under the London Records umbrella and signed productions and remixes. The label diversified with off-shoots like [[label:283]] then evolved into [[label:1659]] before being dropped by London in 1993. [[label:283]] pursued the legacy of the collective.
