Record Label
A hip-hop record label founded in 2000 by Earl Simmons, known as rapper [[artist:DMX]]. Its roster included rappers [[artist:Bazaar Royale]], [[artist:Big Stan]], [[artist:Kashmir (3)]], [[artist:Jinx da Juvy]], [[artist:Loose Canon (3)]] and [[artist:Christian Ward]] (once known on the label as [[artist:Iceberg]], later [[artist:Yung Berg]] and now [[artist:Hitmaka]]). The label was distributed by [[label:Def Jam Recordings]] from 2001 to 2005 and then by [[label:Sony Music]] (formerly [[label:Sony BMG Music Entertainment]]) from 2006 to 2008. It was left inactive in 2009 following several departures of its artists. The Bloodline imprint became defunct following the event of founder DMX's death on April 9, 2021.
