House label founded in London in 1990 by [[artist:David Piccioni]] and based above Black Market Records in Soho. General manager from 1993 to 2003: [[artist:Simon Marks (5)]]. Like several other London labels from the same era, early Azuli releases had a fake New York address on the labels e.g. [[release:37193]]. Azuli's UK garage releases, with their black sleeves, started in 1997. See [[label:BM Funky]] and [[label:BM Soho]] for the related labels active in the late 2000s/early 2010s. The company behind the label from 2004 to April 2009, when Azuli went into liquidation, was [[label:Coolpool Ltd.]] aka [[label:Cool Pool Ltd.]].
