About Zig & Zag

Zig And Zag had been popular on Irish television since the late 1980s, but it was with their move to the UK on Channel 4's wacky morning show 'The Big Breakfast' in 1992 that they became household names, where they would interview various celebrities.

Popular with adult viewers as well as children, it was only a matter of time before Zig And Zag were given their own full TV series, followed by numerous other merchandising spin-offs including t-shirts, comics, toys, puppets, TV advertising for Golden Wonder Crisps and also a record release.

'Them Girls' entered the UK charts at number 5 on 24th December 1994 and remained there for 9 weeks.
