Son of [[artist:Paul Chue]] and brother of [[artist:Leon Chue]] and [[artist:Simon Chue]] aka [[artist:S. Chu]].

Wookie began his production career at [[artist:Jazzie B]]'s [[label:Soul II Soul Studios]] in the mid-1990s.

Switched from R&B to UK garage in the late 1990s when school friend [[artist:Johnny J (2)]] brought him a Whitney Houston accappella ([r=127384]).

Diversified into house music in the early 2000s with [r=1576333], inspired by [[artist:Karizma]] productions.

Runs [[label:Manchu Recordings]] and [[label:Lovestar Music]].

The Wookie alias is taken from his surname's similarity to Chewbacca from the Star Wars franchise.
