Electronic/rock/jazz project from Moscow, Russia. Formed in 1993 as an experimental/noise rock band, in late 1994 changed sound to ambient/electronic, then more to downtempo/nu jazz/trip-hop, and later to indie pop/shoegaze.

Named after an Edward Munch's painting "Spring Day on Karl Johan (1891)".

Stopped after the death of the project's leader Vladimir Buzin on December 24, 2025.
