About Una Bomba

No relation to the UK act Unabombers, these men have

been known as Una Bomba since 95, when Röövel Ööbik

realised they have gotten too dancey for their name.

By then they had to be the world’s best known Eastern

Bloc indie-rockers – the only ones, at least, to be

personally invited by John Peel to record a session

for his BBC Radio 1 show (93). Their Estonian-only

debut “Honeycombat” (97) still sounded fresh enough 3

years later to be picked up and re-released globally

by the Canadian indie High Park Records.
