Tragedy Khadafi, born [[artist:Percy Chapman]] on August 13, 1971, in Queens, New York, is a rapper and producer from the Queensbridge housing projects. He began his career in the mid-1980s as [[artist:MC Percy]] in the group [[artist:Super Kids]] and later joined the [[artist:Juice Crew All Stars]]. After a prison sentence, he reemerged as [[artist:Intelligent Hoodlum]], releasing two politically conscious albums in the early 1990s. Under the name [[artist:Tragedy Khadafi]], he was instrumental in shaping [[artist:Capone -N- Noreaga]]’s debut The War Report and continued to release solo albums through the 2000s and 2010s.
