He studied percussion at the [[label:527847]]. As well as performing regularly amongst various orchestras, he also played keyboards and percussion for [[artist:Spiritualized]]. He was a member of [[artist:Coil]]'s live group where he played marimba for several years, as well as contributing to various recordings. He has also performed and recorded with [[artist:Thighpaulsandra]], and is a member of **Silent Letters**.
