Born: June 2, 1962, Iceland

Originally a member of the surrealistic pop band [[artist:714709]], of minimal-wave group [[artist:7349965]] and together with poet [[artist:14879]]/[[artist:700031]] as duo Ónýta Bókasafnið, later went on to co-found [[artist:The Sugarcubes]] and the [[label:Smekkleysa]] label.

Was briefly married to [[artist:Björk]] (with whom they have a son, [[artist:Sindri Eldon]]) and is the brother of [[artist:Ari Eldon]].
