About Thilo Rex

Thilo C. Rex was born in Hannover, Germany on May 15th, 1958. Brother of [[artist:1217358]].

Professional producer with roots in music and photography. In the past has been a successful music-producer & discovered bands such as [[artist:18034]], [[artist:2735814]] and [[artist:258161]].

During his career collaborated with acclaimed musicians & vocalists such as [[artist:18160]], [[artist:87624]] and [[artist:667973]]. As a songwriter he created songs for artists like [[artist:255208]], [[artist:365662]], [[artist:378655]], [[artist:575761]], [[artist:4762929]]. Wrote soundtracks for movies such as "Mystic Pizza" (german soundtrack), "The Dominoe Principle", [[artist:14382983]] and "Deadly Diamonds".

At the age of twelve he developed a love for photography, with a particular interest in the works of fashion photographers of that time.

In the mid-70s he worked for the industrial photostudio GRAUEL & UPHOFF GmbH in Hannover, Germany.

Later he worked for a couple of years in Hamburg as chief editor and journalist for various magazines, such as VIDEOPLAY, COMIXENE, JANUS and others.

At the same time he started his second successful career as an author, mostly on dialogue-books for foreign movies and tv-series.

Passed away in early 2009 at the age of 51.
