About The Lox

American hip hop trio from Yonkers, New York City. Composed of [[artist:Jadakiss]], [[artist:Styles P]] and [[artist:Sheek Louch]]. Beginning circa 1994 as [[artist:4958143]], they renamed themselves to 'The Warlox'. When they signed with [[artist:35135]], he convinced them to shorten their name to 'The Lox' as they were "no longer at war". They also often capitalized their name as 'The LOX' to show it stood for "**L**iving **O**ff **X**perience". Once they got out of [[label:13090]] and into [[label:52381]]/[[label:2311]], they started to refer themselves often as simply 'LOX' to drive home the acronym.
