American vocalist and songwriter. Daughter of actor [[artist:Jack Straw (2)]]. Raised in Los Angeles, relocated to New York in 1978, currently resides in Vermont.

Began career singing backup for [[artist:Pat Benatar]]. Was a member of [[artist:The Golden Palominos]] from 1985 to 1987. Released first solo album in 1989.
