After his stint with [[artist:Complex (19)]] in the 1970s, he co-formed [[artist:Monsoon]] in the early 1980s, marrying the band's lead singer [[artist:12369]] in 1985. Later on Coe teamed up with [[artist:Bob Mitchell]] and became one of the vital figures of hi-NRG dance scene writing and producing for [[artist:Ellie Warren]], [[artist:Laura Branigan]], [[artist:Pan's People]], [[artist:Mary Roos]] etc.
