About Stereoshaker

DJ & producer based in Weert, The Netherlands.

Born: January 22, 1980 (Asten, The Netherlands)

[[artist:Bart Claessen]] started playing music at a young age. At the end of the 90's he had a small studio and with his equipment he produced his first track, "[m=45372]" as [[artist:Barthezz]], which was released in 2001. Next year saw the follow up, "[m=45381]". In 2003, Bart started a new project called Stereoshaker, releasing the track "[m=45394]".

After these two projects, Bart released his first track under his own name "[m=850767]" in 2004. He developed a new sound that mainly oriented towards tech trance, remixing several trance artists and became a key member at [[label:Yakuza]] and later [[label:Anjunabeats]].

He founded friendship with fellow Dutchman [[artist:Raz Nitzan]] and they together founded the formation [[artist:Who.is]], merging the millennial sound of trance with modern progressive techniques.

After his track "[r=3082328]" in 2011, he decided to move a bit further from trance with his singles at [[label:Big & Dirty]] and took dubstep and electro house onto the flag.

In 2014, he founded his first own label [[label:Playmo Sounds]] and the support of those tracks lead him to [[label:Mainstage Music]] too.

In 2017, he decided to retire from making music and using social media platforms.

After a 6 years hiatus, he returned to DJing, notably with a producer's set at Luminosity Festival in 2023.
