Stefan Sverin is a Swedish musician and songwriter. He was not part of Fake during the release of their first single, Warlord / Dreamgirl, which was independently written, performed, and financed by the founding members. At the time, Stefan was playing in the hard rock band Glory Bells Band. He met Billy (Stefan Bogstedt), Fake’s bass player, in school, and when the band needed a drummer, Stefan joined after visiting their rehearsal studio. At that point, the early version of Donna Rouge – then called Warm Ice – was already in development. He left the band sometime before their Swedish tour began in July 1984.
