About Slow Bongo Floyd

Manchester based psychedelic dance group of the early 1990s. First coming to note under the House project S&M in the late 80's, founding member Mick Jones was eager to start a group that was able to prove that good music could be made at home with mates for very little money. By 1992 Slow Bongo Floyd had become a gig band, performing Indie Dance across the UK.

Although not active since then, a 2nd album known as 'Mrs. Peel' has popped up online on occasion, featuring a remix by Paul Oakenfold and two previously unreleased songs produced by Apollo 440.
