Slam

DJ and producer duo from Glasgow, Scotland. Co-founders of [[label:Soma Quality Recordings]] and promoters of the Atlantis (1989-92) & Slam (1991-) parties in Glasgow. They met in 1986 in Sheffield, where Orde was studying Geography at university and Stuart was working in a bar. The band’s name was inspired by [Phuture](http://www.discogs.com/release/1165)'s legendary track of the same name.
