Bassist and keyboardist born in Duxhurst (UK) on the 1st of June, 1960.

Simon Gallup started his career with [[artist:Lockjaw]] (1976-1979) and with [[artist:Mag/Spys]] (1979). He then joined [[artist:The Cure]] in 1980. In 1982 he left the band after a fight with the front man [[artist:Robert Smith]] and went on to found Cry, which was later renamed [[artist:Fools Dance]]. In 1984 he rejoined [[artist:The Cure]].
