Born 14 April 1955, and raised in Dublin, Ireland.

Irish drummer and percussionist, best known for his time spent with [[artist:The Boomtown Rats]]. After the disbanding of The Boomtown Rats, Simon put together a band with fellow Rat [[artist:Johnny Fingers]] called [[artist:86708]] featuring Simon on lead vocals, and in 1987 they released a 3-track CD single featuring the title track "Play To Win". He is currently playing in a band called "**The Pump Jockeys**" with [[artist:Garry Roberts]].
