About Ronald Bähr

German producer, label owner and economist based in Kaiserslautern. Bähr was a prolific contributor to 1990's Eurodance scene and had multiple chart hits with numerous casted projects. He also introduced an European styled kind of Hip-Hop by initiation of the project [[artist:87215]] in the mid 1990's.

Bähr studied economics in Hamburg, where he founded his label [[label:10390]] and the corresponding publisher [[label:300758]]. In the 1990's, Bähr moved to Kaiserslautern together with his companies. In 1992, Shift Music became part of [[label:561]]. In the following years, Shift added sublabels, as [[label:4007]] for Trance releases and [[label:18109]] for Hip-Hop releases. The umbrella company was then called [[label:415995]]. Also studios, as the [[label:300759]] were part of this company.

Bähr also initiated, founded and produced Eurodance acts as [[artist:33765]], where he appeared as [[artist:555424]]. Many commercially successful productions are connected with him in this genre. [[artist:87215]] was a project, he initiated to form a more European style Hip-Hop. Those projects were connected with a couple of anti-racism campaigns.

In the 2000's, Bähr became real estate broker. In the late 2010's, he opened an Irish pub and cultural centre in Kaiserslautern.
