British musician who is largely known as a bassist, but is also a guitarist, keyboard player, programmer of Linn drums, producer, and songwriter.

After the disbanding of [[artist:Woody Kern]], he had a stint in [[artist:Roxy Music]]. However, this only lasted a few months as he was hired in the June of 1972, and fired in December of the same year. Following a short-lived solo career in the mid-1970s, he became involved in the synth-pop scene of the late-1970s, eventually forming [[artist:Savage Progress]] in 1982. On the departure of [[artist:Glynnis]] Thomas, he chose to disband the group in 1984 and began playing as a session musician. He has subsequently appeared with many acts, including [[artist:Bassomatic]], [[artist:Anne Clark]], and [[artist:Orchestra JB]].
