About Raw Man

Romain Séo, also known under the pseudonym Raw Man (in the French "Touch" house music scene), born August 18, 1975 in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, is a French multi instrumentalist musician (guitar ,bass, drums, synths) & music composer for TV, films, commercials.

He also plays in the electro-pop duo [[artist:My Dear]] with his wife Blanche Cabanel.

Raw Man, French musician since the age of 13, then composer and producer, has always drawn two musical ways : rock and electro music. From 1998, his first house records are released on respective labels of Daft Punk : Roulé (Scratché) and Crydamoure. With [[artist:Play Paul]], Guy-Man's brother, Raw Man forms [[artist:The Buffalo Bunch]] (“Buffalo Club”), then he’ll use others names depending on his projects as [[artist:We in Music]] or [[artist:For the Floorz]], before creating, in 2000, his own label [[label:We Rock Music]] to focus on his electro and house projects. In 2004, he founds the rock band [[artist:Amen Birdmen]] with Cyril Bodin (singer of [[artist:Aloud]]). Their music is a mix of 90’s rock and electro. Summer 2008, Kitsuné released his electro track “Wargame”. Since then, Raw Man currently works on 3 different projects : Amen Birdmen (rock band), [[artist:Priors]] (electro-house band with Yann Destal, singer of [[artist:Modjo]]) & [[artist:Raw Man & Blanche]] (an electro pop duo with his lover Blanche) which later bacame [[artist:My Dear]].

Trivia: Play Paul gave him the "Raw Man" moniker, a play on his real name, “Romain”, which is hard for non-French-speaking people to say correctly ("He was always great for coming up with artist names. Paul even came up with “The Buffalo Bunch” name ").
