About Radium

Hardcore Techno producer and DJ from France.

In 1993 Daniel Técoult started producing extreme electronic music with a friend from school. In 1994 they decide to give their project a name and [[artist:Micropoint]] is born. Also Daniel starts a solo-DJ career as [[artist:Radium]], which he took from the track Radyum by [[artist:17452]]

The first [[artist:Micropoint]] vinyls are released on [[label:B.E.A.S.T. Records]] and [[label:Epiteth Rec.]] in 1995.

1996, [[artist:Radium]] starts Audiogenic and his first own label called [[label:Psychik Genocide]] and with 2 other producers from Paris, [[artist:Micropoint]] starts [[label:Dead End Records]].

In 1999 [[artist:Laurent Hô]], owner of [[label:3758]], decides to release a [[artist:Micropoint]] CD Album called [r=41547]. Due to the huge success of this album [[artist:Micropoint]] and [[artist:Radium]] are booked at many big French events as **Boréalis**, **Heliocolors**, **Astropolis**, the final of **Paris' Techno Parade** in 1999 and in famous clubs like **Rex** and **Arapaho**.

[[artist:Micropoint]] and [[artist:Radium]] also get the chance to release records on other labels like the German [[label:Super Special Corp.]] and [[label:1383]], the French [[label:Xunk]] the Italian [[label:Head Fuck Records]], the Dutch [[label:Cunt Records]] and also [[label:Deathchant]] and [[label:Rebelscum]] from the UK.

In 2000, after [[artist:Radium]] releases the Mix-CD [r=117511], [[artist:Micropoint]] releases their second album [r=23569] which includes guest artists as [[artist:E.HB]] (singer of the French alternative band [[artist:LTNO]]), **DID.S** (drummer of rock band [[artist:Treponem Pal]]) and [[artist:Manu Le Malin]].

They tour all french concert halls with a new show including a drummer and a MC.

Radium also plays outside of France: Switzerland (Odissey), Italy (Hardcore Nation), UK (North), Germany (FuckParade & Resident E), USA (Millenial Dawn).

After [[artist:Micropoint]] splitt up at the end of 2001, [[artist:Radium]] returns with a brand new album: [r=67238],

with different sides of his hardcore sound.

This album get's followed up soon with another album called [r=238272] which is also released on 2 vinyls. This album means the real breakthrough for [[artist:Radium]] in Holland.

He even get's bookings for several editions of Hellbound in Amsterdam (Holland).

In 2003 [[artist:Radium]] decides it's time for a new label for his "less industrial" sounding tracks. He starts the label [[label:Arena]] and a new project as [[artist:197640]], which turns out to be a success.
