About Pink Elln

Pink Elln, the early alias of Tobias Freund, is a name synonymous with sonic experimentation and innovation. Emerging in the 1980s with the industrial project Vo Ese together with is friend Lars Müller, Freund crafted raw, untamed soundscapes that blurred the line between chaos and control. In the 1990s, his collaboration with Atom™ became a hallmark of live improvisation, while his work with Sieg über die Sonne explored minimalism and emotional depth.

Through "The Electronic Dream Plant", Freund delved deeper into the world of analog synths, pushing the boundaries of sound. However, since moving from Frankfurt / Main to Berlin in 2004, he has not used the Pink Elln alias, transitioning to new projects while always embracing the spirit of sonic exploration.
