Phil Wilde started his career as a professional DJ in the late '80s. From there, he worked his way up as a songwriter and producer.

He formed a successful production team with Jean-Paul de Coster as Wilde & Coster and together with [[artist:Peter Bauwens]] he started the company [L=Soundsational Productions].

A few of the artists for which he produced were [[artist:2 Unlimited]], [[artist:Def Dames Dope]] and [[artist:CB Milton]]. He also did a some remixes for dance acts.
