Peter Mergener (born 28/11/1951, in Birkenfeld) was best-known as half of the German synth music duo [[artist:Peter Mergener & Michael Weisser]] (aka [[artist:Software]] the prolific [[label:IC]] duo). As a soloist he has continued to explore new musical avenues and explore new horizons.
