Pekka Streng

Finnish singer-songwriter who has a cult status in Finland. Born 1948, died 1975. He featured in some theatre and radio projects in the beginning of his career and later released two solo albums. His music was psychedelic folk and prog rock with mystic lyrics. In his first album he was accompanied by [[artist:Tasavallan Presidentti]] and in his second album by some front-line Finnish jazz musicians. He was planning to release a third album that would be based on The Lord of the Rings, but he died in April 1975 because of cancer and never recorded it.
