French DJ and producer who started Djing in 1986 under the name of DJ Spice P. Before joining forces with German DJ [[artist:Mario Hammer]] as [[artist:Hiver & Hammer]] in 1997, he had over 30 releases on labels like Frankfurt Beat, Time Unlimited, Global Ambition and Formaldehyd. With Mario Hammer he co-founded the Hamburg based production company [[label:425346]]. His primary stage name 'Pierre Hiver' arose from the French word for Winter, which is hiver.
