About Pascal Languirand
Canadian musician born May 3, 1955, in Paris, France but raised in Quebec.
Pascal Languirand is a key actor in the development of cosmic alien-like soundscaping ambiences and more generally in late '70s electronic prog music and religious avant-garde experimentalism. His typical sound identity has been a heavy influence in those specific musical universes next to other Canadians artists such as Dionne-Brégent, Mort Garson and David Pritchard. Minos (1978) and De Harmonia Universalia (1980) can be considered as milestones. Pascal Languirand is also the author of a few commercial hits with the new waving pop duet Trans-X.
