About Nick Mason

British drummer (born January 27, 1944 in Birmingham, United Kingdom), most famous as founding member of [[artist:Pink Floyd]] in 1965. He is the only group member to have performed on each and every one of their albums. In 2018, he formed [[artist:6711335]] to perform Pink Floyd's early psychedelic material, prior to Dark Side Of The Moon. He's also famous for being a car fanatic and has published 3 books about cars (with Mark Hales) and one about Pink Floyd. He has collaborated with a number of jazz musicians, e.g. [[artist:250036]] or [[artist:5049]], and has produced a number of albums for other acts.
