About Myk Jung

German vocalist, political scientist and author, born July 3, 1964 in Essen, father of [[artist:Allegra]].

In the late 1970's, he and his schoolmates [[artist:855245]] and [L'O](https://www.discogs.com/artist/927851-LOlita) started to play music. In the early 1980's, they played together in a band called "Avadon". After [[artist:927850]] joined them in 1984, the band renamed to [[artist:210011]]. The band first played New Wave music, later they put more emphasis on electronic beats and became an EBM band.

In the early 1990's, the became a successful band in the German Dark Wave scene.

Jung co-founded the Industrial side project [[artist:94688]] in 1993, in the end of 1995, The Fair Sex dissolved. Testify stayed active until the end of the 1990's. In 2000, The Fair Sex reunited, split in 2005 and again reunited in 2013.

From 2002, Jung also started solo works and also involved his then-10-years-old daughter [[artist:308738]] in his projects.

Jung, who studied political sciences and philology started a second career as book author in 2001, when he wrote his first parody of Tolkien's "Lord Of The Rings". Later, he also performed at public readings and founded several other music side projects.
