About Murder Inc. [ii]
Following the recording of Killing Joke's [r=314202], Martin Atkins invited the other members ([[artist:Geordie Walker]] and [[artist:Paul Raven]] - excluding vocalist [[artist:Jaz Coleman]]), two former KJ members ([[artist:'Big' Paul Ferguson]] and [[artist:John Bechdel]]) and [[artist:Chris Connelly]] (with whom he'd worked as part of [[artist:Ministry]] and [[artist:Pigface]]) to join him and record an album for his [[label:Invisible]] label as Murder Inc.
The group gradually fell apart and Geordie began working with [[artist:Youth]] and Coleman once more and recorded [r=314042] and [r=169422] with the reformed Killing Joke, before the band fell apart again. The Murder Inc. idea was partially revived in Atkin's [r=167933] project, again featuring Connelly and Walker, a project that survived Walker's return, once again, to Killing Joke to record [r=218258].
