German artist, painter, graphic designer and musician. He was born on 1955-10-08 in Halle (Saale) in East-Germany, but grew up in Celle in West-Germany after his father the painter Tom Reichelt (1920-2004) had been able to move there in 1957. In 1978 Moritz R was co-founder of the Art Attack art gallery in Elberfeld, Wuppertal, which led to the birth of the [[label:6181]] label, and in 1979 he was co-founder of [[artist:38707]]. At the end of the year 2002 Reichelt moved to Berlin. After 11 years in oblivion he reignited [[artist:Der Plan]] 4.0 in 2003. In 2020 he opened his own Chak Chak art gallery & art shop in Potsdam, Berlin. As a graphic artist Reichelt is perhaps best known for his sleeve art for Depeche Mode, for Andreas Dorau and for Der Plan.
