Graduated from the Leeds College of Music in 1988. He has worked with artists such as [[artist:7551]], [[artist:6378]], [[artist:8029]], [[artist:1396]], [[artist:754757]] and [[artist:298810]]. Smith has also scored several TV productions, done session work as an arranger and conductor, and is currently a member of [[artist:1692059]].
