American drummer and electronic producer, born on July 6, 1949, in San Francisco. Brother of [[artist:227462]]. As a founding member of the [[artist:30724]] band he played on their first 8 albums, until 1974. He later became an electronic music producer, learning his craft whilst performing with Klaus Schulze. In 2016 he returned to Santana for [Santana IV](https://www.discogs.com/master/986309-Santana-Santana-IV) and the live album [Santana IV Live At The House Of Blues Las Vegas](https://www.discogs.com/master/1080715-Santana-Santana-IV-Live-At-The-House-Of-Blues-Las-Vegas).
