Michael Hoenig

German musician and composer, born on 4 January 1952 in Hamburg, currently residing on the island of Ibiza, after living in Los Angeles (USA) for a long time. Apart from a few solo albums Michael is far better known for his film music and, for some fans, also for the music for the popular **Baldur's Gate** PC games series. Owns his own production company [[label:Metamusic Productions]]. He performed and recorded with [[artist:117565]] from 1971 (after [[artist:34347]] left the band to join [[artist:10343]]) to 1974 and again since 2007. In 1975 he briefly played with [[artist:10343]] during their Australian tour and one concert in London (in place of the sick [[artist:54855]]) and with [[artist:10360]] for a handful of concerts before starting solo recordings in 1977.
