The artist behind Math is Mattie Hendriks from Venray, Holland. Mattie started as rapper and beatboxer with [[artist:Don Funcken]] from [[artist:Funckarma]] together as Legal Dope. He collaborated with Funckarma for a few tracks under their [[artist:Quench (3)]] project. He also worked on a hip-hop-electronica project with [[artist:Speedy J]]. He is still member of the hip-hop band Freaky Force.
