About Masonna
Japanese noise-music performer. Born November 16, 1966, in Miyazu, Kyoto. Osaka-based artist operates the [[label:Coquette]] label and is also a member of the group [[artist:Christine 23 Onna]] (along with [[artist:Fusao Toda]] from [[artist:Angel'in Heavy Syrup]]). He has an analog synthesizer project called Space Machine (around 1998). He was a member of the experimental noise group [[artist:Flying Testicle]] with [[artist:Merzbow]], as well as the Japanoise super-group [[artist:Bustmonster]], which included [[artist:Masami Akita]] from Merzbow on drums. All of Maso's projects draw heavily from psychedelic music. He has played with Runzelstirn & Gurgelstock, Aube, Merzbow, Jojo Hiroshige, Solmania, Boris, YBO2, K.K. Null, Blixa Bargeld, the Stars, and Acid Mothers Temple, among among others...
