About Marvellous Cain

DJ & producer, UK.

Raised in Basingstoke, He began DJing as part of the Katmandu sound system. His first residency in the rave scene was for Yikes before moving on to In-Ter-Dance.

He had a series of big tunes during Jungle’s ragga heyday in 1993-94, including “The Hitman” and “Dub Plate Style.” Before signing to Suburban Base in 1995, Cain released tracks on his friend Sponge’s label I.Q. Recordings, collaborating with Sponge and current Ganja Kru member Pascal.

During the early to mid 90's, Marv also ran Sight Sound Motion Records at Church Square in Basingstoke, Hants with his cousin Byron Lewis and friend, Lyndsey.

He also owned or co-owned the [[label:Runninz Records ]] & [[label:Miditraks]] labels.
