About Markus Reinhardt
German musician, producer, author and screenplay writer from Hamburg.
In 1987, he co-founded [[artist:10733]] and met one year later [[artist:41957]], which made the group become a duo of the both musicians. In 1991, the duo had its first club hit with their single "[The Sparrows And The Nightingales](https://www.discogs.com/master/27536-Wolfsheim-The-Sparrows-And-The-Nightingales)". In the following years, the duo became more and more successful with their Synth Pop sound and even managed to place an album at the peak of the German album charts in 2003.
During the 1990's, Reinhardt had a couple of side projects, especially together with [[artist:114594]] from [[artist:68602]].
In 2004 / 2005, Wolfsheim went on hiatus, some years later Reinhardt and Heppner started a couple of trials against each other and none of both were allowed to continue Wolfsheim.
Reinhardt went solo in 2020, besides his career as musician, he also started a producer career and started to write screenplays for TV productions.
